My Hubby spoke to Dave Thibodeaux today about the sewage and quantity of lots owned. We were told a while back that anyone having less then 4 lots will not get sewage ,lights,or water. Dave said this is wrong. They can't stop anyone weather they have one lot or 20 lots from getting sewage, lights,or water. But it will be two or more years before sewage is passed. Till that time he can not issue any permits for water or lights to anyone. Dave Thibodeaux is health Dept. number is 1-337-475- 3238 if you want to talk with him. Let him answer your questions. He gave more encouragement then we been getting so far. Once sewage is passed , there will be a connection fee. Right now he's not sure what that will be. But they are trying to get a flat rate equal rate for everyone weather they own one lot or 20 lots. Equally. Which will cost everyone a lot cheaper. He gave an example to my hubby. He said lets say everyone pays 4.00 per lot. Sure those with 20 lots will pay more then a person with one lot but the point here is everyone will pay 4.00 a lot. not ones with more pay less and ones with lass pay more. Also pumping sand. He said they are discussing this strongly. Nothing approved yet but really needs to be done. So that's what we've learned so far. Call Dave ask your questions. He's a very nice person and will answer your questions as best he can.
