Small business centers across the state help business owners with SBA disaster loan applications

Eleven centers across the state are ready to help business owners affected by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita and take the confusion out of the Small Business Administration (SBA) process. The Louisiana Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network is open to personally assist local businesses with applying for SBA loans.

The SBDC Network, in partnership with Louisiana Economic Development and other economic development allies, is also offering disaster relief workshops and counseling assistance for business owners impacted by Katrina and Rita. Services are free and workshops are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

You can visit http://www.lsbdc.org or call (866) 782-4159 for schedules and more information about the SBDC programs.
