I live in between Elizabeth and Sugartown, My brother and sister-in-law Lloyd and Tammy Fountain lived in Oak Grove, as well as his in laws Vorice and Mary Faul. Both of thier houses are gone. I will do what ever I can to help anyone needing information. If you need to locate some one let me know thier names and adress, will do what I can. I understand perfectly about you wanting to know about your horses. We live on a farm, and when evacuations were called for Allen Parish. we knew we could not go, and leave 14 head of horses and 80 head of cows to fend for themselves. We lost three head of cattle due to felled trees. If we had not been here, to rope down our barn roof, all of it would have been destroyed. I ttok video of Creole all the way to Gibstown bridge, along with still shots. Mr Nunez that lived on the right of the T at Oak Grove, his house was partialy standing. Salt lines were at the top of the line pole that were left standing. So that tells me the water was at least 25 foot in that area. God Bless, and let me know, I will do what ever I can. thanks for the information. willard found one of his horses (alive) and some cattle in little pecan. believe some of his cattle and piglets found in little chenier, large area to search. i know they are looking for livestock, so if they find any live horses, they will be brought in also. just hope my horses made it, i know chances are slim, but still hoping. elougia
