update on Little chenier - crews said that LIttle chenier fared much better than east creole Debbie theriots place still there - james alleman is amzingly there - jerry boudreauxs has floated into marsh - jerry trahans is there w/ damage, keiths floated somewhat, big new camp is there, i think Mac Haynies was still there...i will let you know about any others when i can remember - it is just too much to handle right now

Mosquito and a few others went out to little chenier. Pishu's house and Maw Maw Allie's house are in the big burns. Dad's house is still there, Uncle Leon's house and Mr. Clayton's house is still there. Ms. Betty told maw maw that ms. jeanette savoie's house is in her yard, but Melasey's house is gone. I think they said that keith trahan and jerry's house were still there.

Hey! This is Angie Thibodeaux. Do you know anything about the houses further down Little Chenier? I was wondering about my mom's trailer, my great-grandma's old house, Mr. NuNu & Mrs. Annette's house, etc. Please let me know although I'm sure it won't be good news (esp. my mom's trailer). my brother jacob and uncle richard james have been going down to little chenier. I will ask them how far they got. I know that they had a hard time getting to some places because of the trees, and I know that where your mom's trailer was, there was a lot of trees. They said that they have a hard time telling where they are at when they get down there because there are few landmarks, but i'll keep you posted.
