has anyone been able to get in iowa today(monday) i am looking to get down main st. I know they said no one allowed back until the 3rd but i do know people have been coming and going from there...thanks to anyone with information.

My brother is not to far from Iowa and there was not much flooding around him. He lives in a trailer, and, while his barn is gone, the trailer has survived.

I just left Iowa yesterday. Main Street (Thompson) has trees down on power lines at the Catholic Church, structure damage to the buildings behind the Fire Dept. I have pics of some Iowa damage that I hope to get posted tomorrow. Stine's has some structure damage, the donut shop, Lil Reds and the Pak a Sack across from there has some structure damage. Priola's lost most of the roof. Boudreaux's Auto Repair has no middle to the building. A West side and an East side, but the middle was demolished. Lots of shingles missing, lots of trees down, but not all trees that are down are ON houses. Most are just in the yards or on power lines. No flooding.
