can anyone tell me how the Calcasieu River is out toward Dequincy. Edwards Road off of High Hope Road?

Look at my other posting about Edwards Road and you'll see that I got a response from someone who said that the flooding from the Calcasieu river in the Edwards Road area was very minimal. it came up about four feet or so. They had a neighbor's camp that was not on stilts and the water didn't even get close. That being said they said that there are power lines down all over and mostly trees down. We have someone going out to our Edwards Road property tomorrow to check it out. I'll let you know when we know anything.
