I am trying to contact the family and/or friends of the Curtis/Cary Deshotel family from Hayes, La. They left our home yesterday going back to Hayes. I am worried about them getting in. Can anyone tell me what the conditions are like in Hayes, La?

I have some great photos of her family, I will email them to you tonight. they are at home and i am at work... i have several calls going out to locate best deal on generators and what size we need to get... i will let you know what i come up with... we have a cool front coming in tonight, and thru saturday which should help them for the moment.. i will not be able to go until friday, but the weather change will help until then.. hi's in 70's, i will see what we can do from here, i will keep you posted .. ps, did curtis sr find his generator?

the pic would be wonderful ty yes his dad has the generator usin for well but the well took tree damage so his dad has his gen curtis dont have one that y im tryin to get them one i have found one here for 300$ at menards all they need is 2500 watts the church is tryin to buy me one but i aint got the money to go to louisiana dang gas prices are too high and there is nooooooooooooooo gas in lake charles or surrounding areas ive called news and police and fire dept they say yes its as bad as we think there but hayes didnt take it too bad no flooding and not alot of structural damage also he said with a laugh at night when the curfew is on all u can hear in the small town is generaters runnin lol

you be sure to tell them, DO NOT run the generator inside! make sure that curtis' mom and dad know not to do that... i saw on the news where 5 people were found dead/carbon monoxide poisoning.. they didn't know NOT to run the generator indoors....

you assume everyone knows better, but then again, mistakes are made.. so be sure to get word to remind everyone.

that is a great price, i am looking for 3600w/ that could run a few items... i will keep you posted..

we live in northeast la, near the arkansas state line... once i get home, i will know more, but will do what we can to help out... later...lw,

im on the phone with carolyn she wants me to give u her number but id rather not online so if u can calll me ill give to u ty sweet heart!!

i just spoke with them... ms cary called in... i told her that i am trying to locate 2 generators to get to them, they are so hot, ... i also told them that if they can't stand the heat to load everyone back up and get back here! we miss them!

i will let you know what we find.. my husband is out looking for some that we may can borrow for a few months...

tina, a friend of mine is going to loan us his 8000kw generator, it is currently in Jackson, Ms. it will be delivered to my house on Friday afternoon.. so early saturday morning, we will head that way with it... i will call ms. cary this morning and let her know what is going on.. i am trying to locate a second unit to send as well.... i will keep you posted... ms cary said that they could meet me half way, so i will call her this morning and get us a game plan together.. take care, loretta
