FEMA is denying everyone through a computer program designed to deny all claims. As soon as my claim was tranmitted to FEMA it showed up on online as denied. NO PHYSICAL person reviewed my claim after FEMA inspectors came to my house. The FEMA inspector transmitted my claim using my phone line. That night it was denied. There's no way they could convince me that a "PERSON" reviewed my transmitted claim. They're bogus. I just emailed news sites and newspapers with hopes that they will pick up our stories. I hope they contact me for my story but hope people who place these posts will want to speak up also. I will post if I hear from any of them (I sent out 12 emails from here to New York)...

I have also been denied by fema they came and did an expection at my trailer and they denied me due to not enough damage yet my trailer shifted you can not even lock my doors anymore there are pieces of my roof missing and my living room and bedroom have water damage. My walls are rotting due to damage. And my roof leaks inside now.But its noe enough damage.Yet the lady down the street had no damage except some of her clothes got wet due to a leaky roof and they gave her 5 thousand dollars for clothes. You tell me does this sound right? They pick and choose.I am so fed up I could just cry.

go back to a FEMA location and express your need for a new inspection...make sure you let them know who the inspector was that did the first one and they should allow you to have another inspection...I heard they're doing that.. some of the people who work for FEMA are playing God with all the people in the Louisiana...don't give up until to talk to someone who can help you...Good Luck..

dchampine1, don't give up. I also live in a mobile home that was shifted really bad. My ancors are no longer up and down they shifted several inches. I have walls as well that are soft from being rained inside. My inspector did the same thing. Lucky for me a field inspector came three days later and could not believe that my inspector put that I only needed paint. The paint mind ya to cover the water stains in my ceiling. The field inspector told me to file the appeal and get another inspection done, that there was no sense in this. Field Inspectors are the ones who go around and check over the regular inspectors work and be sure their job is done. I have done my appeal and waiting on a new inspection now. Good luck
