Has anyone been to see how Perkins faired through the bad weather? I am also concerned for the families that live in that area. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
I have taught at that school for over 25 years and love my little community. Mary Ann Koonce |

You taught two of my sons, Brett & Trent Adams. We are now staying with Brett in Denham Springs. The woodland terrace area where we lived suffered extensive damage. Our home luckly escaped. I'd say half the homes on woodland and roberta were seriously damaged by trees. The school area suffered some damage but nothing as major as our subdivision. Trees are down all over and the area as a whole looks bad. This area of sulphur will definately never be the same. |

Thank you so much for remembering me. I remember all of the boys. I am glad that you are all safe. If you hear anything about the area north of the tracts please let me know.

Pete drove on Claiborne from Hwy90 almost to Houston River Rd. Lot of trees and lines down. Could not make all the way to HR Rd. because of trees. Had to turn around and go down Jim Pickens. Vicki and Ronnie had some shingles off.
Metal roof off my house. Lots of sunlight...rain...in the back half of my house. ....always thought the house was too dark inside. lol |
