JoAnn,
It does not look good. I have heard reports that there is water from Gibbstown Bridge to the Gulf.
I was told that there are houses all up against the ring levee there at Gibbstown. I also was told that the water was at least 20 feet deep at the big ferry in Cameron.

JoAnn, glad to see you on this forum too. I am trying to find information about our camp in Grand Lake. George Nunez is a legend in Grand Lake. Somoene is bound to know about our road. Keep in touch. Take care. Love you Nanny Jo!

Julie, lets keep in touch. Hope to find out something about Creole. I wonder if mom's house is still there. I heard that DeRidder is going to be out of electricity for the next two weeks. I asked the family to come to Austin but they don't have access to any gas.

Well Darren is flying into Baton Rouge on Monday night or Tuesday morning. He is using my car or my mom's to head to Deridder. I know gas is limited in BR but we have access to gasoline. They can always come to Paul's and wait for Darren and head to Austin. Maybe we can put our heads together to think of something. This isn't good. I wish KPLC would be back on the air on the website but it has been down all day. This is devestating. Maw Maw has all her pots in mom's car.

Hello JoAnn
Wondering if you're related to Gerard Miller - he's my uncle (lives in Lacassine now). His mother lives in Creole and they took her to Ragley. Don't know how bad it got in Ragley, but wondering if there was any relation.

If anyone has any info on Chenier Perdue please let me know. My grandmother Loretta Theriot's home is down there and no one is talking about it. I'm in Japan and all we get is CNN and all they talk about is NO and Texas and Abbeville. I need to know if someone can get there, she left her dog and cat behind. Can anyone help?

Take a look at these photos of cameron parish.
They misspelled the name but you will get the idea. Just terrible.

Yeah I saw them. I probably shouldn't have, but I did. I wish I was back home to help out. I hate being so far away.
