Hi, I'm in Jackson Miss. My brother-in-law is in Carlyss and reported to me on the cell phone as he looked. Basically, there is no flood damage at all around the North Carlyss Drive Area, Currie , Pete Seay, area. If your property was in the open, you have wind damage like roof damage, carports destroyed, barns destroyed, but houses 95% in good shape. If you are surrounded by trees, hardly no wind damage but major tree damage. Basically either the trees landed on your house or they didn't. It looks like they fell down to the south or west or southwest. All trees that are down in the wooded neighborhoods are the big oak and pine trees not the smaller trees. Pete Seay is impassible at this time in some areas. Every main road has many trees laid across, it just depends if someone has cut a path through them.
If you are driving south on Hwy 27, the furtherest you can drive is the Ellender Grocery store till flood waters are to high to drive through. I heard Hackberry Rod and Gun is gone and 9 ft under water in that location.

Thanks
