Spoke to Eric Monceaux yesterday. They are doing best they can They are in need of volunteer help and donated heavy equipment to help clean up Holly Beach and Cameron. But he's mainly concerned with getting equipment and help to clean up Holly Beach. The sooner they can get it cleaned up the sooner the surveyors can come in and re survey and re map and re zone the whole beach.

hi oceanlady the core of engineers are back at holly beach if someone need help they need to take a ride and ask some property owners have had their land surveyed and having their sewage inspected then they will get the permit for electricity comming real soon things are looking up out there.... we need to stay in touch some are really having a hard time staying focused some are in hackberry at guidry rv on dugas rd and in johnson bayou at the fema sites they really enjoying their trailers not so big but they are together.

We will ride back there soon. Talk to more people and see. Because our last visit to the police jury was very discouraging. They told us beings we only have two lots we won't be able to get sewage or electric or water to the lots. They also told us they will not be alowing any RV parks or trailers. Which I find rediculas a camper would save money. If a hurricane comes again you can haul your camper out of there. Instead of haing a permenent building that can be distroyed again and having to fight with FEMA. Well of course the ones who will live in Holly Beach understandibly will build something that will stay.But folks like us who would live there 99.9% the time would have our campers. We were given a camper to put out there some day. But after what the police Jury told us. our hearts broke even more. We flat out told them well, if we can't do anything with our two lots then the lots will sit there grow grass.Because We WILL NOT SELL !!!
