My daughter lives in Suffolk Manor Apts, she is here with us in the Metro New Orleans area. We are trying to find out any damages or flooding in that area and when should she come back. She also works at Harrah's casino, is there any damages to the casino??

Some of the pictures in the photo gallery on this website are of Lake St. south of 210. There is no flooding there and given what I have heard from the Lake Charles area, Lake St. around Suffolk Manor is probably not flooded.

My parents live at the very end of Deesport and their houses did not flood. Lake St and Deesport are clear - if you can get into the city.

Made it down Deesport yesterday and Suffolk Manor is still standing. There were some broken windows on some apartments facing on Deesport but the structure of the apartments seems sound - didn't see any trees down on the buildings and it did not flood. There seemed to be some people in residence, but maybe they had, like us, just come into town to assess the damage.
