Does anyone know of the conditions in the Frasch Park area of Sulphur? Flooding? Tree damage? Areas of Kim, Sara, Bowie Streets?

My sister lives on Sara St. in Sulphur. There is no flooding but trees and power lines are down. Her shed was demolished by a tree and her trailer had a tree on it but it didnt break thru the roof. Also, there is no water or phone.

This is Denise's friend, Karla. Are you talking about Traci's house? Where did they stay during the storm?

Karla, this is Rachel (Denise's sister). Yes, that is Traci's house. D & T are in Bossier w/my parents at my aunt's house. Thom and Katie are at Katie's grandparents in Shreveport. David and Cade had to stay and work. David made it out to their house tonight and all the oaks are down in the front yard and some trees are down in the back but the house looked ok. A tree fell on the boat and the shop. Haven't heard about mom and dad's house. Are you all ok?

Hey Rachel, thanks for the news! Glad they're okay. We're fine, & I believe my folks' place on Ginger St. is okay. I'm just waiting to hear something on my place now. We're all with relatives in Lafayette, so tell Denise "Hi" for me when you talk to her.

My brother lives on Lee St. in Maplewood. He has made it back. No water got into his house but a huge oak fall on it. They have no elec. but water is on, (I wouldn't trust it to drink). They had an old, plug in the wall, telephne, which doesn't need elec. & it works.

Please, everyone in the Rita devastatied area, regester with the Red Cross as soon as possible! They are the first line of help & FEMA comes after.
