Does anybody know when Grand Chenier is going to have power or even better be able to move back?? I have friends that want to know and any info would help tremendously.

We were told that the business would receive power first. Scott Trahan spoke with my aunt, Elougia "Lady" Richard about fixing Twin Oaks Trailor Park. They would only be able to offer campers spot, no trailors would be allowed. (People would be able to set up their campers and work on their property.) If they can get this approved, then you might get the power to cross the river at the bridge. The lines are ran in Grand Chenier, but now power yet.
We will need to rerun electrical and water lines. Sewer line was deeper and seems to be ok, but will need a new pump for the oxydation pit for sewer.

when i talk to nannan (mrs. lady) who should i tell her you are? i'm not sure who all the code names are. as i'm sure you know, nannan is staying in houston with my brother butch. momma, daddy, kathy and francis are staying in iowa on property that they bought a few year ago. joyce ann and bob live there also. momma, daddy, kathy and francis are leaving tomorrow for south dakota to see angelia and bryant. angelia is getting her phd on dec 10th from the university that she was attending. angelia and bryant are doing fine, and she bought a house around august. good luck to all of you, i check this site daily and try to post when i can. elougia
