I just got home from work and my neighbor met me and told me that we had some trucks picking up debris from the side of our road and that they broke my water line. Then they took off. My neighbor called the water company and they came out and said the problem was on our side of the meter and that it was our responsibility to fix. I have no idea who the people were picking up the trees. I don't live in the city limits and I don't know who I should call to find out who did this. If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate it.

Someone in your town officials should know who is picking up debris. Most towns and cities have paid people doing this job. I would try your local sheriff offices or your local police jury members to ask if they know who is being paid. I know around our house it is parish workers or people that the parish hired. We live in Jeff Davis Parish. Just an idea where to start.
