Any word on how Rita impacted Hayes? My parents evacuated to Baton Rouge, but we are worried about the house.

I know of a Lognion family who returned and did not find it too damaged. The Ardoin Cove area (closer to I-10) has had a lot of wind damage---trees, power lines, roofs etc. Our farm has one of our irrigation well engines turned over---about 4000 # engine.

I am from Hayes and the damage is mostly trees, roof tops and mobile homes. It did suffer good damage. No water, no electricity, poles and large Oaks down everywhere. Returned home, tried to stay but just to hot, no breeze.
