Yes, My father works for ppg but he's with us. He has talked to one person and they said everything in that part he works at is under control... Some damage but not bad. When he gets back from running an errand I'll check & see what area of PPG. Maybe this is atleast a little help to you.

My Dad also works out there and is there now. The plant apparently sustained quite a bit of damage but no injuries to anyone. There was at least some flooding on-site. Hope this helps.

I work at PPG and appreciate the information you are giving here. I evac'd when they told us to and haven't heard from any of the guys from my department.

My daughter works at PPG and she stayed at the plant. She has called twice today, (Saturday) and they are alright. She said she is with about 40 people and they will need to make some repairs but it's not too bad.
We have been unable to call her but she calls us. I will ask her about Bobby Chiasson when she calls again.

My daughter just called from PPG and said Bobbie Chiasson okay and she left a message for him that Tiffany was wanting to know. He had gone home to look at his house.

Does anyone have specific information about the plant....what areas were hit or flooded....are the powerhouses up and running...what roads are accessible ? We're stuck in Mississippi and don't what roads we can try and take back.

Call 888-774-2777. This is the hot line with information on it. I called today and no information about paychecks. Tomorrow there will be information on how to give your contact information to the plant. You can also check the web page given by Stacy Ewalt.

As of the morning of Sept 26, power is still off in PPG except for some generators. They are still trying to startone of the large generators. No power is available from Entergy.

How are ppg going to get paid?
