But this meeting was a joke. The speaker Mr.Ernie, had 99.9 % of NO answers for the questions. He said the building codes are set by the state they will not change. He also said as of January 1 2007 new codes will go in effect. What they are he did not know. Sewage is still up in the air. He said as far as he knew the Holly Beach name will stay. He also said as far as he knew campers, RV parks and trailers will be allowed in Holly Beach. But so many questions went unanswered. The people are getting frustrated at the lack of answers at the meetings. Some told me they may stop attending meetings. I said please don't. Keep coming I know its frustraiting but come, voice your opinions , show yourselves at meetings. If people stop attending what will happen is they will just do what they want and no one will be able to say NO . They would love that. So PLEASE folks I know its frustraiting but attend the meetings . Voice your opinions. Keep fighting.
