I am unclear on whether everyone gets a FEMA inspection or not. Our status says we are not due for an inspection since we have insurance and FEMA does not cover deductibles. Yet many of our friends, who are insured, have gotten an inspection. We did receive the Exped. Assis. in a timely manner.
So if we get none, should we be concerned about that?

Fcp2005 The http://www.fema.gov site is not as informative as it should be. Your local TV station web site may have more information about FEMA issues. http://www.wwltv.com has some very good Fema FAQ articles (you may need to search). I understand that if you are entitled/qualified to receive more FEMA assistance than the $2000 then you need to make sure you follow up with FEMA because then the $2000 was just a down payment on the whole amount you may be qualified for. Remember, I said maybe. The point is not to let FEMA off the hook if you have already received the $2000, you may qualify for more.
