That is mere Rumor, do not believe everything you hear. Just like it was posted on TV that they were going to start dozing Cameron, rumor not true, shame when you can not believe what people tell you on TV or the radio.

I talked with Freddie Richard on Saturday and he confirmed they are ONLY removing debris on public property. The public property debris removal will come later and is being discussed who will bear the costs. They will need to either get the legal authority to enter private property before proceeding.

As far as the federal government purchasing the owners property to expand the Sabine Federal Natural Wildlife Refuge is speculation however we can understand why this rumor may be occuring on a 'logical/financial/emotional' basis.

Does anyone else out there with Louisiana Citizens Coastal insurance? I was just wondering if anyone else is getting the run-around for an adjustor. I got a claim number on sept. 26 and still no adjustor to speak to.

My sister-in-lkaw and brother do. After she called and raised nine kinds of HE-_ they finally sent a ajuster out to look in Creole. She called the main office and left a not so nice message. In three days an ajuster called. She held nothing back she let them know she thought they were a piece of crap for an insurance company. If I were you I would do the same. Do not give up call them everyday if you have to, they will send someone to shut you up.LOL Wishing you good luck.

An insurance adjuster finally called us for the first time yesterday and left a voice mail. We have friends from Holly Beach that have had adjusters at their camps several weeks ago. From what I've heard from others, the damaged is being attributed to "storm surge".

Also, our friends had a company call and offer to buy them out. I can't remember the name of the company. We have not had a buyer call, nor are we interested in selling. Our camps were together on Teal Street in the block on the west side of the Catholic church.

The residents of Oak Grove Creole were told they had to build 14 foot above sea level or FEMA will not help next time, and there would be no one that would write a insurance policy for anyone not complying.

hey mborel
Have Louisiana Citizens Coastal Insurance too, got claim number soon after storm , got adjuster name and adjuster called will go out Wed then Sat he went to Johnson Bayou on Constance Beach can't find your place I guess not I TOLD HIM I LIVE IN CAMERON, Reported his incompentancy to Insurance, Got insurance on him he went to my home finally LAST WEEK, Bad news he said damage caused by storm surge and insurance may not pay. Called Insurance back to dispute his findings and demanded a building contractor to investigate. They are going to look at his report and if need be sending a building contractor to assest damage. THEY CALLED YESTERDAY AND SAID WILL SEND A BUILDING CONTRACTOR OUT. No response yet.

Thanks for the replies, I call them everyday. Even when the say someone will call you in 5-7 days and they never call. Everyday they have a different answer of why I haven't heard from an adjustor. I hate to be ugly and mean but it looks like I might have to. This is gone on too long. Thanks again you guys!
