If you haven't gotten your answer yet, I understand it's very bad in Orange. I talked with a cousin today who's daughter lives in Orange. Someone in that family went back to check on things & left the area ASAP. There are gas leaks. The local police, county sheriff, & the state police should be able to answer questions for you about that area.

Please, everyone in the Rita devastatied area, regester with the Red Cross as soon as possible! They are the first line of help & FEMA comes after.

Try KOGT.com they have great info. This forum is good but was much better yesterday and this morning. They changed something and most of previous info is gone. Orange has lots of trees done--and structural damage isn't too bad from the pictures--unless a tree got the house.
Tuffy's in Mauriceville is giving out free ice--so everything isn't destroyed. Hope this helps.
