Does anyone have any info as to damage in Bridge City, specifically, Jennie Lane off of Turner Drive? We have evacuated to St. Martinville, LA and can't get in contact with anyone. SGL

I went through Bridge City on Saturday. I did not see a lot of flooding. In fact other than power lines down everywhere and trees down every where it wasn't too bad.

If your house is well built and a tree did not fall on it you are probably ok. Shingles off, wind driven rain, thawed freezers will be you biggest problem.

However, if you live out 1442 toward Orange field the situation may be somewhat worse. The Penacostal church with the high roof has not shingles left. Every trees from the rail road tracks at the power plant to hwy 105 is blown down. If I remeber right Turner road is in that area.

Don't feel to bad. There was one house, the big rown one next to 1442 between Besse Hights and 105. It has a tree though the middle of it.

You cannot pass Tanglewood Dr. (Or you couldn't yesterday.) Because all of my trees are in the road. Sorry, I can't cut them up right now.

Cheers
